I bought a 69 460 from a lincoln continental and it has a crank driven power steering pump. Since it is going in a car that will have manual steering I have no use for it. I was wondering if there was any way to eliminate it. thanks for any help

standard front timing cover and seal (while the timing cover is off, also remove the gear that drives the Lincoln p/s pump)

get the standard crankshaft spacer/sleeve (acts as a spacer where the original Lincoln p/s unit was fitted)

brackets for a none crank driven pump

Lincoln balancers are different from Ford/Merc balancers in regards to where the belt pulleys are located so it will need swapped to

and the water pump is differant also
