69 nova floor boards

    hey guys i was wondering how hard it would be to redo the floor of a 69 what guage steel should i use its my friends nova that were doing thanks

    not sure what the guage thickness the floors are.. best bet would be to get a micrometer and measure the thickness of the car, and then get some flat metal the same thickness or thicker. never go thinner.

    you can buy floor boards for nova, camaro, chevelle, all the other cars from jcwhitney.... mustang floor boards from mustangs unlimited.com and maverick is from the junkyard or make a mustang floor fit, like i did

    22 gauge steel will be fine,..... your preference if you decide to go heavier. depending on how much you need to replace and how your forming it,.you may want 20 ga.

    but there are also many places that you can just buy a new floor for a chevy whatever. not the case with mavs.

    Yeah i know we can buy some online. But we decided to do it ourselves to give us something to do in the sumer. i think were gonna do the whole thing.

    If you can buy them, I'd say do that... a lot of headache in the long run.
