69 toploader clutch

    1977 Factory 302 Mav. 1970 Cougar Eliminator, 1975 302 Grabber, 1976 4door 200...and still looking
    I am installing a 1969 mustang 4sp toploader in my mav. My question is...I have a parts car with a 200 6 in it with a new clutch. Will this clutch work in the toploader and will it be strong enough to hold up to a built 302?

    No, it will not hold up to your 302. I have been thru tons of clutch and pressure plate combos in my car. The new technology in pressure plates and springs has been a godsend to me. Same clutch now for 3 years!! Woohoo!
