    i was looking to buy a 73 grand torino tomorrow like every car ive bought im always not sure so i said i would ask you guys like its said a grand torino 351w c6 it cranks up but needs a carb or rebuilding u can smell the old gas when it was running paint looks good tires ok no rust on the body (that i could see) ugly ugly carpet.. he wants 1500.00 here are some pics.. tell me what u think

    69 1/2, 70 Maverick and 71 Grabber
    That is not a 351w it is a Cleveland and has the 4 barrel air cleaner. Look at the corner of the heads close to the valve cover and intake and see if there is a 4 cast on them. Looks like a nice score.

    Zoomed in and it appears to be a 4

    OMG ..... the colors ....... 1973 called and said it wanted that interior back! :clap:

    Looks like a nice score at $1500, but a big project..... ;)

    dont know where i got windsor from even before i saw it he said it was a cleveland...i also think it would look better with chromed bumpers

    Yup, a 351 C for sure - my 351 CJ 4V came out of a 72 Gran Torino Sport - different front end than the 73 - identical to the one in in the Clint Eastwood movie :thumbs2:

    oh yea i like the 72 front grille... but my cuz had a 73 first car that scared the hell out of me dont know what he had in it but it was a monster

    Is buy it for that price if it was here in Az and i knew it was rust free. If its not rusty its worth the money.

    I've got my Brother's '69 Torino GT Fastback up for sale right now, so I've been looking at the different years and "Grand Torino's" for sale as well. From the stuff that I've seen, that is a good price.
