Part of my uniframe is a little bad. What about running a aluminum channel bar from the back frame to the front and bolting it on? Also for extra floor support. I figured aluminum because of weight.

There are subframe connectors out there made for reducing chassis flex. You can get them at Jeg's, Summit, etc usually for less than $100. The better ones require a slot to be cut in the floor for the tube to go through, but most others just either bolt or weld to the factory subframes. That being said, if your subframe is "bad" (depends on what's wrong with it) it might be better off replacing/repairing it. Good luck
I would take it to a shop and have metal welded in there. Bolts will never be as strong as welding and aluminum has to be much thicker than steel to get the same strength.
uniframe Thanks for the input guys. I`m taking it to a muffler shop at the end of september and I think they do that kind of work also. Steve
