86 gt wheels on 4 lug mav ?

    1970 maverick grabber. 6cyl/auto. grabber blue ext. black int.
    i was at the wrecking yard today and found a nice set of 86 gt 15x7 ten holes, with very good tires. my question is will they fit on my 70 maverick. i have 4 lugs, did the mustang use the same bolt pattern ?. thanks again guys.

    4 LUG WHEELS

    NO THEY WONT FIT THE MAV HAS A 4 ON 4 1/2 AND THE MUSTANG
    IS 4 ON 4 1/4.WELD WHEEL HAS SOME THAT WILL FIT IT.

    thanks paul, but i guess im going to wait on upgrading my wheels until i have a 5lug suspension.

    Hey guy. I just aquired another mav,,, and the wheels that are on it are unique,,,,,'

    If ya are interested,,,, let me know I will post a pic of them for ya and others to see.....

    They are in really great shape....NO marded places at all.....
    Like I said they are unique,.... Give me a Day or so

    if ya are intested... and I will post them here for ya... ok

    sure i would like to see those "unique" wheels. im very curious now... also if im interested would you sell them ?.

    Those are Appliance Product wheels. I ran a set like those on my datsoon years ago. Polished up they look good.

    Well... I know the center caps... and the back of the wheels..
    are stamped.... AMERICAN RACING>>>>> lol

    So thats who made them..... Never heard of the type a wheel you talked about in the last post...

    Strange, mine said Appliance Product in the back. Maybe this was a wheel design that was licenced to a few builders?
