I've been getting ready to transplant the 5.0 HO donor engine from the Cougar into my '75. It has a lower profile intake than the Explorer to fit under that low hood on the Cougar. Has anyone used one of these and can post of a pic of how it sits in the engine bay. Doing some planning (and dreaming) for the transplant, but want to see if it is likely to clear the shock tower brace on the drivers side. I have the funky power steering one, and hope I don't have to notch it.

The pic is the one I've got that is going in. I like that it turns towards the front of the car too.

    Thanks.

It's the same one they used on the 94-95 Stangs. Might ask and include that aspect.

Thanks, Wasn't sure what ford did with the Mustangs, and for what years. That's why I threw the pic up there.

    Have a great holiday everyone.....
