I know how everyone likes pictures so here are some pictures of the two projects I have been working on the last few months. I have not had that much time to work on the 924 Mav because I have been working on the Garage. My father-in-law and myself have been spending our Saturdays and vacation days building this garage. We have done everything except pour the slab, put up shingles, and had a friend wire it for us. I am excited about getting closer to finishing so I can spend my spare time working on the Mav.
i think they start at about $1800 and go up from there. i think you also need about 12 ft ceilings so it is something that needs to be considered during the construction phase. still it'll be nice to be able to get inside to work on the mav.
I did not think about a lift during constriction phase. I do however have a 1000 square feet floored upstairs for storage. I built a stairwell for easy access. Enough room to store lots of Mav Parts for current and future projects or big enough to put a pool table for my boys when they are a bit bigger.
some pour a slab to the side and put the lift there... nice for fair weather projects ...frank... i am in the planning stage of a shop myself....a lift is in the plans
Now there is an idea, I have a slab already poured to the left of my garage. I poured it to park my travel trailer but I have other places I can park it.
It is 36x24. I have put a wall in the first bay to close it off. I am going to insulate it and air condition it. It gets very hot an humid in these parts during the summer. Pattison TX is near Houston. Very muggy!
nice ,i am in the process of building my garage and the ceilings need to be a 14 feet for a two post lift spare time thats what we all say a week after its done youll be getting your mail at the garage
