Im looking at buying a 95 mustang v6 pretty cheap.. Only thing i dont like is its a v6 with 145 hp from the factory. I want to boost MPG and HP I would like to boost that as much as possible everything except a super charger.. Ideas welcome.. Rear gears, cold air intake, pulley, spark plugs, spark plug wires, new exhaust, ECU chip???? ANy tips????

Out of all the things you listed the only two that MIGHT increase power are a cold air intake (if it doesn't already have one) and a tuner chip.
Rear gears will make it accelerate faster but it won't improve mpg.
A good tune up will deliver the power that is there but it won't increase anything.
Putting in some higher compression pistons will give more power and increase fuel mileage.

Hold out for a v8 car. More power and better mpg. I like the 3.8 v6s (if you can keep head gaskets on them) but good mpg is not a strong point of the 3.8. Rear gears are your best bang for the buck, followed by all the other stuff you mentioned.

Underdrive pulley is supposed to add 14 horsepower.. New exhaust, get rid of the catalyic converters should add some power too.. I would like to have a v8 but they are double or more then what this mustang is... I would honestly like a 94-02 Firebird or Camaro with a 5.7...
