Hi All, I was wondering what the main difference between the condensors on the 73 Mavs and the 74 and up. The part number changes, but what exactly is different? The outlets? Anyway, I saw the condensor on Ebay, and I need a new one, but the one there is for a 74-75. Thanks. -Corbin
I'm not sure what the difference is but unless your going for the original look, I'd convert your compressor to a Sanden unit. Its much more efficient, smoother, and robs a lot less power. Companies like Classic Auto Air make kits the will bolt a Sanden compressor on the existing brackets and have all the hoses. Sometime in the next month I am going to get one of these kits. I will let you know.
Mavaholic, I have a small compressor on my engine (late model 5.0), and am going to use that. I just need to get the other parts before I can have someone make hoses that will fit and charge the sytem. My original condersor is shot, all the fins are smashed and all bent to hell. I am curious about how the Classic Auto Air conversion goes for you. I was thinking about that conversion until I dropped the 5.0 in. Thanks. -Corbin
