I have a 74 mav. I`m not sure what year fenders are on it. They have a valance that goes arcoss from one to the other. What are they? I`m also putting bumper on it off a 73 mav. I got a spoiler for a 74 mav from mas racing but not sure if it will work. I may have to send it back and get a different one. Can I get some advise?
Fenders I will try to help, not sure exactly what you have if it has been changed from the factory or not. Fenders for 69.5-72 are the same and are knotched out for the metal stone guard that goes between the smaller front bumpers and the fenders. The valance is unique to these model years. The 73' year is an intermidiate (sp?) year, which is unique to 73' only. Has different bumper and valance than any other model year. I am not sure of what type of stone guard is on the 73' Then 74-77 are then unique to these model years. This fenders are not knotched out, but some people have done so to swap out the larger bumpers etc. to the earlier year bumper, stone guard and valance style. I hope this helps, I sure others may give more input.
about fender change it has a 74 bumper on it at this time. The fenders and stone guard may be a 73, not sure. The stone guard is about 6in. tall. I will be installing a 73 bumper. I guess I should have got a 73 spoiler. I`m sure I can probably return this one and get the other. I didn`t realize there would be a difference.
