Aluminum Radiator and Fan Shroud

    Does anyone sell an Aluminum Radiator that will fit a Maverick and also have holes to mount the stock fan shroud?? Thanks - Dan

    The radiator I bought did not have connections for a fan shroud, hell it didn't even fit, atleast not until I got the sawsall out! :D :eek: :p

    i believe mavaholic's aluminum radiator was supposed to be a stock replacement size radiator.

    I think you can get one that will bolt right in with fan shroud holes and all from Griffin but they are pricey like $500.00.

    Griffin does make a direct replacement radiator. Price was $552 thru Summit last year. Part# is GRI-7-570BU-FXX. It is a 2 row 1 1/2" tubes and has the flange to mount a fan shroud. Most of the universal ones are only 1 1/4" tubes.

    Two 1973 LDO Mavericks (one 4 Drag one 4 driving like Mad on the roads :) ) also have a 75 6cyl Stock! Ok, well sort of Stock :P
    becareful on some of those radiators "stock replacements" from girffin because some don't come with tranny line provisions. so you will need to run a external tranny cooler, which you should anyways. just fyi

    this is a be-cool 1970 mustang 460 radiator had to use the sawsall on it then it droped in the hole

    I was going ot ask a radiator question just like this today, guess I don't have to. That Griffin one sounds a little expensive. Since he is local here in Phoenix I will go see what he will sell me one for.

    JOHN I BEAT THE TEXAS HEAT WITH THIS RAD HAD A STOCK THREE CORE( AIR CAR) THAT YOU CAN BUY NEW AT AUTO-ZONE IT WORKED FINE THE COOL DOWN TIME IS FAST WITH ALUMINUM

    this rad won't fit without cutting the whole front brace off right? ... looks like you don't have one... what does the whole compartment look like?
