another project

Bought a mild 289 to put in my dads 81 mustang.

 

With an intake like that, I think your definition of mild and mine are different, going to take quite a bit to put it to good use

 

looks like your going to need a hood scoop sweeeeeeeeeeeeeeet

 

Yeah, if you weren't being sarcastic about that "mild" thing, you're going to be WAY over-carbed! LOL

 

I don't know about being over-carbed but I bet the intake is designed to rev to the stratosphere!

 

I dont know the exact specs but its .030 over with a cam and some head work. Full length flowtech headers. The motor should rev pretty good with this setup. Going to have a C4 with 2000 stall converter. i had the intake so im going to try it out

 

way too much intake for that kinda build...

yeah ive heard a lot of good things about this intake, also its not suppose to choke out a mild small block. like i said we'll see no big deal

Sorry to drag out an old thread but i figured i'd share the finished projected. We'll kinda finished starter went out before fine tuning it.

 

So....the parker intake was a nogo?

 

its on there just looks smaller with everything. Still couldnt tell you performance, need a starter. rAN it up and down the street a couple times nothing to serious
