Here are pics of a project Im working on. This 67 Mustang belongs to my Mom. We are tearing it down to a bare shell, and we'll be building it up into a mild Restomod.
The body will be stripped down to bare metal and we'll start from there.
The mods I am gonna do will be to eliminate the factory shock towers and clumsey steering, and go with a Pinto/Mustang II style setup with power rack & pinion steering and an aftermarket tilt steering column.

Then a narrowed 9" inch rear and relocate the leaf springs inboard of the frame rails...to get some much bigger meats under the rear!!

It needs new floorboards, so I'll be replacing those and installing custom built subframe connectors at the same time.

I may decide to do some other customizing to different areas along the way.
This is kind of a long term project, as money and time will allow.
    :yup:

This is what we started with!!

Fun project! Definently a great starting point.

You don't happen to have any Torino fastbacks within that fenceline do you? :D
