I've got a 62 2 door sedan that I'm hot roddding. It's painted tangerine from 96 mustang with black bucket seat interior. The car is beautiful. I just have to finish the drivetrain and back suspension. It's got a 306 with solid roller cam, tfs tw heads, and dual Holley 450 mech secondary carbs. The trans is a toploader with doug nash pro shifted gears. 9" det locker 31 splines and 4.56 gears. Took a break from the car when I got my maverick. It's next to be finished when the maverick is done now. Are there any good falcon forums besides you know who Nazi?

    I got a early 60 Tudor that my dad bought new. Back in the mid 70's I swapped the 6 for a 289, T-10, 4.57:1 9"

I haven't found a good forum, tffn.net was the closest but it's not great.

One of my projects is a 66 Futura, it was originally a 289 A code car then someone swapped in a 200 into it. But we're swapping another V8 into it, probably a 302 with 289 decals.

Had a 61 2 door sedan and a 61 2 door wagon when I was in my teens. Wish I still had the wagon.

Cool, let's keep this going and see who else has them. Maverick75, is the 66 the year they had the indentations on the sides of the fenders? Sounds like a cool project. Wow rthomas, your dad bought it new very cool. Ever think of making it a gasser?

The ttfn is the one I was referring to in my first post. David is way too strict over there. It's kind of uncomfortable.

Here's a picture. It's been a long project, especially since things always go wrong. Like the paint job somehow we were supplied with the wrong clear coat which means all the paints needed to get stripped down again. Hopefully by the end of this year it will be repainted.
And V8 swap next year, (if things go well).

I know that all too well, a while back I tried listing a hood for sale on there and it was impossible. I had to sell it locally and only got 25% of what it was worth.

I have had Falcons my entire driving life from the age of 17 until about 8 years ago @ 50. My first two were 62 tudors. Than came a 64 Futura convert. After that a 63 sprint hardtop with a 351w and a 4speed, then a 63.5 convert and lastly a 63.5 hardtop Futura. After my 67 Fairlane was hit and totaled I got disgusted and sold off everything I had stored away over the years along with the Falcon. The guy I sold the car to had to make three trips from my house with a pickup truck to haul away all of the spare parts I had. I then started to ebay all of my N.O.S. stuff. Just after I bought the Maverick I decided to auction off the NOS grille I had bought for my 63 way back when @ the Ford dealer. I got $1200.00 for it still in the box. Still have the receipt from Rice and Holmans for $36.00. The only parts I have left are a NOS left fender, an NOS left door skin and a left fiberglass fender I bought just to hang on the wall for decoration. I guess I should sell that stuff off also cause it looks like the are no more Falcons in my future. The 1963 Falcon is still my all time favorite car ...

Wow sguageguy, you have had alot of falcons. I didn't mention it
And it's not in my signature because it needs a restoration but I've got a 63 sprint convertible which my mother bought new. A had another 63 sprint convertible that I parted out back in the 80's. It was a complete rust bucket and nothing on the body was salvageable.
