Any pointers anyone could give would help!

I am not looking for a heavy hitter on the strip...just a clean mean show car!

    show to go

Get a early 351W block, put Hyper type piston with about a 9-9.5 comp. Truck rods, oil restrictor kit, windage tray, and balance the assembly. Get a good SFI damper and alum waterpump (polished) Accel Unilite dist, and coil. AOD with a Polished 600 Holley Carb, Polished alum manifold, headers with JetHot coating. Use chrome and powder coating under the hood and rearend, suspension.
Heads, I like the Edlebrock RPMs or TFS, RRocker arms, and MT black wrinkle valve covers. Alum radiator. Braided hoses where ever possible, real ones, not those wannabe types.
