I just joined this web board and I was just curious as to where everyone lives. I'm in Orlando, FL. I just bought my 72 Grabber, I had a 70 Grabber in High School and sold it when I went to college. Well I've been regreting it ever since so I started searching and found another.

Just wanted to say hello. Looks like a great site!

    I'll post some pictures soon!

3 hours South in Ft Lauderdale!!! I still have the 73 GT that I special-ordered from Ft Lauderdale L-M. We also have a 77 Comet that replaced a rice grinder and has given us a LOT better service. Both are 302 cars w/ AC, PS, and 2 doors. When the 73 gets restored (it only has 250,000 miles on it), I still have it's original 73 Fla tag that will be re-registered to it.

So who makes the trip to the Turkey Rod Run in Daytona? I usually go there with my Dad and a few friends...I didn't have a car last year :( But we'll have the Mav to cruise in this year!!!

May go down this year. Daytona is my home town, and I miss it up here. Also, have the car ready this year, so I am seriously considering it.

Hey all you FL guys. Isnt there a big event hosted by Natl Parts Depot in Jan? I perfer all Ford events but I'd go to almost anything big. My mom & brothers live in Bradenton and I am looking for a major event that I can attend and vist the rest of the family too. I was planning on visiting in Jan but nothing is in concrete yet.

Do you frequent any events in or around the area? Like I mentioned before I just got my car and I'm not sure where any good cruise-in / car shows are. I know that they have something at Denny's on Kirkman, I think on Friday. Let me know if you make it out anywhere. Maybe we can meet up.

 OH yes ! the Daytona Turkey Run is the most awesome thing I`ve ever been to. I think EVERY car nut should go to it at least once just to check it out! It would be very cool if we could all plan one year for LOTS of Mavericks/Comets to be there.
For those of you unfamiliar this show always has over 5,000
cars registered in the show area,a huge swap meet, big manufacturers midway and the whole town is FULL of cool cars
everywhere you look. with lots of cruisin going on and its all
in and around the Daytona Speedway.
