Ok looking for wheels using the Application Guide which does not list Mavericks after 1974, so I selected Granada thinking it would be the same as the Maverick, but the return results (offsets) were way different. I when went back and double checked 1st generation Mustangs and earlier Mavericks, they seemed to have the correct offset. I thought Granada’s were the same sort of platform as the Mustang/Falcon cars? Does the Granada except newer + offset type of wheels?

I have no idea what you're talking about. You're not looking for "Maverick wheels". You need to look for wheels that have the correct bolt pattern, as well as the size and back-spacing you want.

    If it's 5-lug, you need a 5x4-1/2" bolt pattern. It's gonna be the same from '72 -'77.

The early ones do, the later are fox body platforms.

The Granada/Monarch wheels have 1/2" less backspace than stock Maverick/Comet wheels.

The Granada platform changed in 1980-81. There may have been both platform cars in 1980, but I've definately seen the earlier platform in a 1980 year model. The 1980 is also the ones that had the highest chance of having a 9" rear.(drum brake though)
