Picked up a 65 (6 bolt) Bellhousing for my Toploader but the clutch fork I have is from a Maverick. The Pivot is definitely different in this bellhousing. Would a 65-66 Mustang fork work in a Maverick?? They sell the later model pivots - how hard are they to replace?? I see they come with rivets .... Dan

I'm running '66 Mustang clutch linkage and bellhousing in my Mav. The pivot can be bolted in if you don't want to use rivets. Just use some good grade 8 bolts and nuts.

So should I switch the pivot and use the Maverick fork or should I just use the 65/66 pivot that is already in there and buy a 65/66 clutch fork??

OK - I just drilled out the rivets on the fulcrum and removed it. I'll run over to Mustangs Unlimted tomorrow and buy the 68-73 fulcrom and bolt it in .. seems like you would need a special tool to use the included rivets ....

That sounds like it should work. Does your fork have a leaf spring riveted to it to hold it onto the pivot? I've seen those kind of forks but I've never seen what the pivot looks like that they mate to. Just wondering.
