Okay, Okay, I've looked through all of the archives or at least the ones i could find about headers for the 351w in a maverick. What i have come up with are ones from Autokrafters for $350, Hooker Super Comp for bout $500, or Hedman Headers for around $150 or somethin like that, And i am still unsure on which ones would be the best. I am mostly looking for the best fitting ones, preferably ones that would take the least amount of modifications to the engine compartment. Can anyone help me on this? Which ones are the best out of those, or are there better ones that I dont even know about. This topic has been brought up alot, but I'm still stuck, and lookin for some help.

Hey guy...I know what your going through trying to find 351W headers...no one seems to have any idea of what really works or not. I even tryed e-mailing a few guys running this engine and either got no reponse or they were in the same boat as us. I'm currently using a set of hooker 302 headers that have been extensively modified(smashed)...and while they work( the car has just run a 12.40@113mph)..I do not recomend anyone to do this. I just purchased a set of hedman 351 engine swap headers for a 64-73 mustang. They don't look like they will fit...but I will give it a try and make them fit. I'll let you know when I'm done it it was a good choice or not. If ANYONE has ANY ideas on what headers to use...Please please post a reponse..believe me..it will be greatly appreciated!

This topic has been touched on more than any other I can think of. That being said, Hooker # 6208 are supposed to work, though I dont think they'll clear a c6 trans. I ended up making mine, but they are for race use only....no room for mufflers as the collectors are right under the doors pointing at a 45 degree angle toward the rear/side of the car. I did run some flowmaster 4" muffs last year, but they really choked it down (.03/2 mph) so they came back off and are now on another car. There really aren't too many choices with this swap. Good luck

Yeah, and I think I have looked through every post I could find on this. I thought I read somewhere that the 6208's were for a 302 and might not work for a 351. Is that correct or am I way off?

Do you or anyone else have an address , phone #, e-mail address or web site for Tubular Automotive or anyone who carries their products? I'd be interested in giving them a try. Thanks
