Have the Weiand Stealth now the ratings for this stuff you cant tell what to believe shifting at 6500 rpm don’t want to cut the hood so the vic jr is out was thinking of going to the Edelbrock Torker-II for a single plane my motor is a 30 over 351w 11.3-1comp AFR 185 heads
intake I have no idea what this is, but your post reminded me of it. Oh by the way, You may not have trouble with a Victor junior intake. I have one on my 302 and even after a nitrous plate, all I had to do was tweak my air cleaner a bit to get it to fit under a flat hood.
I would guess it is an Australian version of the 5L upper and lower intake manifold for the EFI engine.
Your intake selection should depend on how the engine is set up to run. I have a Super Victor JR for the 351 and still it's ports are to small for the heads we need to use and will be going to the largest Victor single plane they offer to match the ports. It is rated to 8000 rpm and is in line with how the engine it to be run. The rpm band we need to run in is from 4000 to at least 7500 with heads and cam to match using a 750 or 800 cfm alky carb.. From that point on it just takes observation to try to optimize the setup.
Rev limit is 6900 called and talked to a guy at Holley aka Weiand he told me the stealth is rated to 6800 but that it just flows to that and that it is Really done at 6100 rpm he said go for the victor i told him i dont want to cut the hood and he said the Torker II flows close with the vic jr to about 6700 then the vic jr from there on is better that was a guy from Weiand called Edelbrock and they said about the same for the Torker but the best to go with was the victor but with no room under the hood the torkerII with a 3/4 or 1 inch spacer would work real good
RE That cam is not going to want to go much past 6000. It should run real good with that compression and heads. Cam is a little small for the compression might ping if you dont have real good gas.
