    :cry: i don't want to be an i was told so but i was told so. i found out what the c4 prob. was. the converter wasn't all the way in when i tightened it down. i called myself checking but it slid out. the converter took out the front pump:cry: now i am looking at another 350 bucks. i have about 500 miles on the rebuild now i have it to do again.:cry: the only good thing is maybe this post will save someone from doing the same thing. thanks for the shoulder...frank...

    Frank, sorry to hear about the tranny problem. Question, are you rebuilding it or having it rebuilt? It seems you could do it yourself for a lot less than $350.00. I am not an expert by any means, but I did take an transmission class this past spring, and it should not be a big deal to do it yourself. There are good books and even videos that you can find on the web to help you out. I haven't had to go out and price out parts and do it myself, but it seems $350.00 is a little high, unless someone else is doing it. Just my .02 worth.
