Two questions. Did the 1972 and 1973 four wheel drum brake Maverick have a proportional valve in the brass manifold? I'm guessing they did not. My mechanic said the valve was leaking and needs a new one. I though the drum brake unit was basically a piece of sold brass with channels for the fluid to flow. I converted to disc on the front so I figure I do need to install a correct proportional valve.
