I took my master cylinder off acouple weeks ago when I started doing the disk brake conversion. Today I put in the master cylinder but I have a queston on how the brake switch goes on the pedal stud. I put the master cylinder rod on the pedal then put the switch on. So the part that has the "U" is next to the pedal and the square part is next to the pin. Is this correct? I am asking because the pedal goes down some before the brake lights, light up.

    Thanks
    Chad

its on correctly...your switch may be goin bad causing the excessive travel before light function HTH
