Well, i realy try to take a shot of the full car, but i can´t.
My garage is too dark and if i step back to put it all on the "QUADRO", the shot was a complete nothing, so i take shots of parts of it
Here the one of the rear

The car is missing the letters F, O and D of the FORD logo on the back, but i have all the letters and will assemble it after a bodywork repaint.
Here is the backpart of the car

Re: rear end and other items

    Guys, and Marco-
I bet that is some type of early version of the current 8.8 housing with the check plate. If he is correct in stating that most cars and light trucks use the same rear end, I doubt it is a 6 3/4 or 7 inch rear. I guess it is possible that it is a replacement rear end. But having 5 lugs I would guess it is not a 6 3/4 behind a V-8.
I didn't see the question answered re: transmission, in one picture there seemed to be a console/consolette?
Also, I like the KM speedo and the factory tach, looks like the speedo assembly. There must be a ton of room under the dash without the lower sections as package trays and later glove compartments like our US built cars.

Neat pics, good luck with the problem Marco.

    Axle codes from data plates

These codes are assembled for 70s Ford using the '78 shop manual, '75 light maintenance manual, and The Mustang Recognition guide. codes are fairly stable from 1969 to 1978, notes are made where needed. Please double check any codes not in the years 1969-1973, 1975, and 1978 since I can only assume the codes remained the same in the years my sources do not cover.

    Info

    Thanks Littleredtoy

I thank you very much about the info...
I have collected as much as info that i can about ford differentials, but the Ford differential on my maverick stays a mistery...
By the way, i´m writting to ford Brasil to ask if they can help and if they can´t, i´ll take it off the car and measure it. This looks like the right thing to do now, as soon i buy another batery a make the car come back to life!!!! ehehehehehe :)

Stefan, thanks you too, and if you like to see another angle of a Brasilian Maverick, please tell me as soon as you can, cause the digital camera is from a friend of mine and i´ll take it back to him on monday!

    Marco

Any idea where we can get a tach like that in the states? Maybe get one shipped up from Brazil?

    Tach

    Will,
My friend extended mys stay with the camera ´till next monday, but since i don´t have taken the batteries charges from him, i´ll have to wait the weekend to recharge them , to finnaly take the shots you ask.

    Jon,
As i have explained to Seth, this tachs are a very hard to find even here in my city (São Paulo), where were sold the great part of the GTs in Brasil. However, as i have also explained him, if you give me the time to search, it can be possible. Please, e-mail me with your data and we could talk in private

    Best Regards

    Marco
