I was given a diff and cover for a 31 spline 8.8" rear. The diff doesn't have any info on it other than a few numbers. The parts supposedly came out of a Saleen Stang of unknown year. The diff was said to be original. Don't know or care about the cover. I would like to know: Brand name? Type? Is it a locker, or just limited slip? (it has no clutches like Trac-Lock) Is it considered durable? Do I need special bolts for the ring gear, or can I just use the ring gear bolts from my open carrier? Any other info? Thanks! Dave
