Well the mav has been put on the back burner because I was needing a way to move it around from place to place. I am just about done with my car trailer. I started with a boat trailer that had lost the tunnel hull boat to a fire on the water. I only used the tongue, axles and rear piece with the tailights. I made the beavertail with storage for the ramps. Hope to be back working on the mav soon. Can't wait to get started on the cage.

I am curous...not counting your time, how much money do you have in that trailer...including what you paid for the boat trailer?

    cost of trailer

Hi Craig. I paid 750.00 for the trailer, 325.00 for diamond plate, and 200.00 for misc. steel. I also put on 4 new tires at 240.00. It didn't need them but I wanted to start fresh. Not bad for a beavertail diamond plate trailer, 18 feet long!

hey steve, looks like a nice trailer. just for your info i saw one a while back at the phoenix greyhound park swap meet for sale. the guy wanted over $2000 for it so i'd say you made out pretty good.:D
p.s. i think if i remember right it needed tires too.

Trailers are dirt cheap here in Indiana. I won't tell you what I can buy them for....but we have a lot of manufacturers around here so it drives down the price.
