Carter YF Carburetor

    I wonder if anyone knows about different model carburetors.

    I notice there are several model carter yf's available.
    Does anyone know if the YF's for jeeps, GM, and fords will mount up to all applications?

    For instance
    Would a 1 barrel YF off a Maverick work with a Jeep straight six that used a YF or GM truck that had a YF originally?

    Based on images, the base plates all look that same

    74 Maverick - 82 Ford Ranger,one of the first ones made!
    They are similar, but the air horn and throttle linkage are different. It will bolt right up, though! :)
