This is the first a-arm completed. I put the a-arm in my mill and using a 2 1/4 inch hole saw, I enlarged the existing chevrolet ball joint hole at a 10 degree angle. I then welded in the steel ball joint sleeve for the Volare ball joint at the 10 degree angle. The 3/4-16 Chromemoly rod ends should be here today.
Steve, Any way that you can post your previous posts that you made on the old board to this new one? I was kind of following your project along and would like to be able to reference it from this new board if possible. Thanks
coil over suspension I am going over to coil over suspension to get rid of the shock towers.(351 in the near future) I don't quite know how to put my other posts here, but I think the others board is still available to search. I am working on putting all of my pictures of the project so far on a web page. Hope to have it up next week. This is the right frame rail after I put the plate on for the a-arm mounts and coil over. This is looking from the front of the car.
It's looking nice! Sure beats the $2,000+ Mustang II on price! Can't wait for the detailed drawings and bill of material list . Keep on keeping on, Rick
