After spending a few days on the drawing board for the upper control arms, I found a one from Howe, http://www.howeracing.com/suspension/suspension2/index3rd5th.htm
It is suppossed to be a very heavy duty piece for a roundy round car.

I ordered one for 29.95. Seems awfully cheap. (I hope they aren't reading this). It seems to fit the bill, plus it is set up for 3/4 inch-16 heim joints. It is set up for a chevrolet pickup ball joint, but as soon as it gets here I am going to try to modify it to either take the stock maverick ball joint, or weld on the threaded sleeve from Speedway engineering, that accepts the Volare ball joint.

(my goodness what a long URL)

I went this way because I am trying to keep this as simple as possible for someone else to do the same thing to there maverick. Hopefully it will be here Monday.
