    Hello everyone!
Well i figured I would jump right in and ask a question.
I'm looking to install a set of coilover's in my 70 maverick . has anyone here gone through this process yet? i'm looking for any recommendations on brands and spring rates

I've looked at qa1's and strange.
Spring rate of 110 or 130...any thoughts?

A little bit about my car 70 maverick, 302 bored / stroked to 347
comp cams roller cam, edelbrock Victor Jr heads, stud girdle SRP pistons.
For now a toploader 4 speed (until the mustang is done)
subframe connectors, adjustable ladderbars, 6 point roll bar.

Ladder bars, X-member installed last weekend (thank god that's done!)

Bought the car in Florida last year hoping to finish early next.

I believe someone here has done a beautiful quite impressive detailed project on that, search the boards history

Check with some chassis shops or manufacturers for recommended spring rates. I chose Aldan from Art Morrison and I think they are a good value for the price. Here's some pics.

    jmglove,
Nice...what spring rate did you go with? 110? or lighter I'm asuming with the tubs.
Thanks for the info I'm planning on calling Art morrison tomorrow to check them out.

130 lb I think. I'd have to check my records, but if they estimate wrong you can swap springs with them at least once for free. Check out their site at www.artmorrison.com
