i recently sold a 73 comet front clip,or so i thought.while looking at pics of my 71 mav i realized that although the clip had a complete lower valance(fender bottom to fender bottom)it wasnt notched to fit the upper piece that fits behind the bumper(in the notches if they were there)this means that the skinny bumper i provided wont fit without making notches.what i need to know is what style bumper came on a comet with this style front end.ive tryed to reach the guy i sold it to without success,but im sure he will be calling me back once he tries to make it fit.im hoping to have another option for him besides notching the fenders.anything you folks can tell me will be much appreciated.....thanks mcmavv
