constant power, key on only power and ground????????????????

    where can i find constant power and key on only power? not sure, lookin for a starting point. good source for ground? installing a cd player into my mav

    I ran a new wire in from the battery for the constant power. If you poke around in the fuse panel with a test light, you could probably find constant power there somewhere too. For the switched 12V, I just used the original wire that was there for the radio from the factory.

    Lol, my car did not come stock with a cigar lighter. But a quick look at the wiring schematic should point out which one is constant I suppose.

    power to the dome light is constant... so your dome light fuse should be linked to a memory power

    You would be correct. It has to be constant so that when you open the door it comes on. Good call.

    Tap into the cigarette lighter wire for your constant power. If I understand the circuit correctly, if you use the dome light power for constant power, then any time you turn the dimmer all the way down you'll wipe out the clock and presets. If not, then disregard this babble. :hmmm:

    There should be a hot accessory bus in the original fuse box...

    There is. Its right in the middle of the block, you just tap into the threaded stud. At least that is the way that it looked to me when I was messing around down there. You will just want to be sure to install an inline fuse in your circuit.
