Cowls what year?

    What year did Ford get smart and go to galvanized steel??? in the cowl area? I heard it was only the earlier year models had the problem with rust where as Ford changed the metal that they used in the cowl area for the later models. I was thinking it was somewhere between 72'-74'?, but I can't remember when it was.
