Ok, I know there is an easy way to do this. While lining up my torque converter bolts I loosened the crank bolt from its 90# torque setting. My old dampner had holes in it that I could insert a screwdriver and roll it aganist the frame to torque the bolts. Now with a new balancer I have no was of holding the engine from turning over so I can torque the bolt to 90#. Ideas plz...flywheel holes?? Scott

I made a tool that holds the pulley . I used an old seatbelt cut to the appropriate length that will go around the pulley and attached it to a piece of 3/4 in square tubing . It works like a filter wrench . You insert your 1/2 drive socket into the end of the square tubing until it binds up and use that to hold the crank assembly in place . you can also use it to turn the engine backwards without the fear of backing off the crank bolt .
