hey everyone,did ford ever make a crankshaft with the keyway cast right onto the crank?i got the old timing set off and put the new one on and noticed that the keyway barely engaged the slot on the crank gear.i tried a chisel and a small screwdriver to try and dislodge it,but it keeps breaking away.so far it looks like the keyway and the crank are one.anyone ever run into this problem,and what was the fix?oh yeah,the motor is a 1972 302 out of a torino.thanks in advance for any and all suggestions. drive safe chuck.
