Crazy Horn!!!!

    i need help with my horn!!

    ok its a 2000 lincoln ls

    the horn sounds at random (just the horn, lights do not flash in unison)

    it does it whether the alarm is set or not

    the steering wheel switch works like normal

    the horn works normal when i set the alarm

    its just haunted and i cant find out why its doing it



    any suggestions will be greatly appreciated

    i just did a search and it does look like this is a common problem on these cars


    i tried some lincoln forums and noone felt compelled to help me out

    a 1971 Grabber with a 302/351
    The horn pad is most likely in need of replacing...the surrounding temperature is causing the contacts to make and break connection. Maybe this will help you steer in the right direction
