well been nightmare month from house subsiding to break in at my store now both wifes and my mavericks up creek. mine which is 1984 was draining batterys ,told by ford garage the alternator not working so got another from scrap yard now i charged battery up and crack it over but will it fire, will it hell. is thier a fuel shut down connected to alternator or something. got mechanic just to swap alternators over said it was 10 minite job yet now as said wont start tried towing to bump start it, put see though fuel hoses in wirh bulb to make sure fuel their from filter but i am not a mechanic just working on common sense things but at end of my rope now stranded at my house cant even now tow my wifes maverick to garage , no drive on that thinks its the clutch but runs well lol so here goes any one out there has the answer, got to be simple as working fine till alternator changed thanks to all in advance koz
Welcome. I believe your "Maverick" is similar to the Bronco II produced here in the states about the same years. There's not much in common with the cars on this site. Post a pic if you can. US Bronco II lowered
I believe this is a first, a post with the European Maverick! This forum is for 1969.5 through 1977 USA built Mavericks and Comets. Your Maverick is the same as some Nissan, I'm not sure of the name. We really know very little about your vehicle, and have only seen pictures of it. You're welcome here, but we may not be much help!
