Has anyone used any of these radios?

either the secret audio or the retro ones (eg. USA 6)

They seem like an awesome idea, and have alot of wattage.

PS - are comet and maverick radios the same? They say theirs fit comets.. but doesn't say mavericks.

    thanks.

I would personally just go with a standard "shaft" radio or the newer style DIN style of radio. Both would require cutting of the radio bezel....but it is a whole lot cheaper and I think you can get a better radio/head unit for the money.

I bought the secret audio 1 with CD changer, front dual cone speaker and underseat speakers. I had problems with the CD changer, but the company replaced it. I'm not that impressed with the sound quality or radio reception, and the whole setup cost about $700. I agree with Craig, you can do better with a new radio.

The only advantage to the Secret audio was that I could leave my AM radio in the dash to keep the original look.
