customized 1:24 FC

    i swaped the interior with a comets so i could have a bench seat. the scoop is from a 70-something merc cougar and would actually be correct for a comet GT but was the closest thing i could find to mine which is just an aftermarket piece. since i made that model ive swapped to small bumpers and a grabber spoiler though :rolleyes: i did most of the chrome with a silver sharpie rather then foil just so it would look more like the old faded chrome on my car rather then the shine chrome affect you get with foil

    Two 1973 LDO Mavericks (one 4 Drag one 4 driving like Mad on the roads :) ) also have a 75 6cyl Stock! Ok, well sort of Stock :P
    dats cool! now only if i could find one of these suckers at wal mart! stupid vegas, pintos, tempos and pacers...lol!

    thanks ;)

    now i have to give the model a small bumper swap too :(

    as a word of advice if anyone wants to make a small bumper FC start with a comet shell and swap all the maverick pieces over.

    Sorry got some dain bramage(long day) I thought you ment you had allready updated the model to match your car.(shoulda caught the small bumpers on your car):banghead:Ive been building models since I was 5 I have a maverick model that is in an ever changing state as I figure out what I want to do to my real one.Got it nailed down now(after 22 years) gotta build the model up for the last time now.Good tip on the comet changeover too.
