I am in the market for a D A sander. What is a good brand and model? Quality is more important than price.

Dynabrade makes some nice sanders. Had mine for sometime now using it daily. I had a Hutchins that used to be my dads was that thing a beast but it never quit after years of use. Hutchins seems a little price but the make good quailty stuff but is a little expensive.

dynabrade by far.. used them for the past 10 years... they fit the palm very well and are nice and light... they range from 4 inch to 8 inch pads... and sandpaper is usually a velco type system so the paper wont come off while sanding.. but you can by the sticky or velco pads seperately for whatever you want to use

I've used several different types...then bought a Hutchins. Twenty years later and still going strong. One of the smoothest DA's you can get. I will tell you though that some DA's have come a long ways over the years and are getting better but if my Hutchins goes out today, I won't even look at any other brand. :2cents:
