I have a 72 Grabber. I just got a new NOS heater panel and knobs also NOS headlight knob. i want to remove the lower chrome trim and repaint the dash. How do i remove that trim? seems impossible to get under the dash under the steering wheel area...

P.S. Im looking for a NOS Wiper Knob also... If you know where one is please let me know!

    thanks

The trim will pry right out. There are little clips that hold it one and they are easy to remove.

    Chaz,

When you get the trim off, could snap some pix of the trim clip holes? I just ran across some trim pieces and my dash is a plain one...

    Thanks!

The little clips slide around, so you could just drill the holes, and space them out evenly.

    Dave,

Any idea what size the holes are? And can I ASSume they're round holes and not some kind of funky broached square holes?

    Thanks!

I have a stripped dash out behind my shed, if it stops raining, I go out and see what size the holes are.
