Need some help.......I want to remove the complete dash, I'm seeing some screws attached to the top leading edge that have the screw heads under the windshield seal. Am I correct in that the windshield needs to come out to get the dash assembly out????
    Thanks, Bob

That's one way. Maybe a year or so ago, this subject came up and someone posted a reply about using a long wobble extension for a ratchet or it might have been a wobble socket.
He said it worked like a charm.

That's assuming you can get all of the components out to get to the screw, unfortuantely for me some of my components screws are broken off at the head. Good luck. If I remeber correctly there is an article in the archieves about removeal and install. Good luck

Since I was doing a complete repaint etc., I paid the glass shop to come out and pull the W/S for me. (You know I'd busted it for sure if I did it myself!) 4 1/4 " screws and out it came.
The heater plenum was cracked, so I S...-canned it and will run a Flex-lite Mojave heater if it gets cool.

Here is a link to information about removing the dash. It can be done without removing the windshield, but of course it is much easier if you do remove the glass! :)
