Out of curiosity, for those of you who run different size tires on the front than on the back, do you carry two different size spares, or do you just take your chances and hope you don't have a blowout?

I used to run 2 different sizes. When I had an "open" rear I carried a spare that was the same diameter as the front tires so I wouldn't mess up the wheel alignment if I used it. When I changed to a posi rear I switched to a spare with the same diameter as the rear tires so I wouldn't burn up the clutches in the posi.

I'm with Russ. With 2 batteries in the trunk, not a lot of room for 2 spares. And besides, a 3.5" tire would look awfully funny on the rear! Scott

    You guys slay me. :D
Seriously though, thanks for all the responses. I sure like the staggered look but it's obvious from the responses that there are things that need to be considered when doing it.

I just have the factory spare in the trunk. Any use would be so temporary that front end pull is not a concern.

Posi would be, but I have no posi.
