In order to do the disc brake conversion on my '72 2 door mav, will I need the whole rear axle from the donor car? (77 4 door mav) Please help. Thanks, Preston:confused:

You shouldn't need the rear axle unless your 72 is a 4-lug car...then I would suggest using it so the entire car would be a 5-lug.

    Well,

Will the rear axle from a '72 five lug sprint work in conjuction with the 77 front disc brakes? Because the 77 is drum rear anyway right? Thanks, Preston
