    Dan, my wife can't get off work (school teacher) due to state testing that week. I originally planned on leaving Thursday but it now looks like it will be Friday, maybe by noon. Might put me getting to the Speedway about 6-7 p.m. Friday night. Is there going to be anything going on there that late or is it over for the day? Let me know what you think.

    I don't see an event schedule ... says they are open until 9:00 PM on Friday and 8:00 PM on Saturday though ... If the weather looks good I'll probably head down there Friday around 10:00 AM ... after Atlanta rush hour ...

    Cool ... look at one of the Sponsors ..

    That would be good then. I could head straight to the track and stay till they close if there's anything going on and check into the motel after I leave there. Do you plan on leaving your car there Friday and riding with me? Do you know the best motel to stay at...if so, I'll go ahead and make my reservations.

    IMPORTANT INFO FOR THOSE NOT PREREGISTERING.

    Registration at the gate will close at 9:30 everyday ....

    Yes, you and your friends can register at gate 12 before the show starting on Thursday. Right now we plan to open registration each morning at 7:00 AM and cut off registration each morning (Thursday-Friday-Saturday) around 9:30 AM. It would be best to be there by Friday morning if you are registering late. Also, click on SHOW INFO on the website or go to www.SouthernAutoClassic.com and look around in there. Please tell us your intentions as early as possible so we can work on getting all of you together should you decide to come. Thanks.
