so in a few days im gonna be starting my 250i6-351v8. i am putting a better v8 c4 in my maverick and was wondering if there is any easy way to get the transmission installed. the engine shouldnt be that much of a challenge its just the trans im scratching my head about. also does anyone else run a mechanical fan with a 351?

When I had a 351W I used the fan, spacer and shroud from my stock 302. I can't believe I do not have a picture of this combination that I later changed to an electric fan. :(

The factory installed engine & trans as a unit... Imagine being on a moving assembly line and trying to get the engine & trans lined up while it's moving down the line... If both are out that's how I'd do it...

When I install the 5.0 I left the fresh C4 with maybe 100 miles in place... Because of new converter issues(hub approx 1/4" too long) I had it back out three times... I got pretty good at it after the first time...
