i've got a '79 302 carbed, and after my last post on this engine, i've finally reallized what all is going on.

i've a bunch of egr crap that frankly, i dont see much use in. i mean, yes, i want to keep the environment clean, but i'm not going to be driving this car much, mostly just wasting away a good weekend at the strip.

so now here's the question... how could i get rid of all this without leaving empty vacuum somewhere in the system? i mean, (correct me if i'm wrong) this isnt goin to ruin any performance, but would make my engine more fun to play with :D . so anyone have any delicate proceedures? or shall i just pull out the pliers and go for it?!

    Thanx guys.

You will never successfully get the car to run right by pulling all the emissions crap off.

For best effect, go with an aftermarket no-emissions intake manifold and carburator, and do it properly.
