I got an email from Hemmings. Elliot Handler passed away on Thursday at age 95. He started the business building doll houses out of scrap wood. Personally, I would like to thank him for making my life a little happier with the cars. A small car can bring such a big smile!

Quite the legacy. I'd say second only to Santa Claus for making kids smile.

I wonder how many hours I played with toy cars as a kid...umm and adult?? I guess as many as a kid on xbox now a days. Ah crap I play that too. Guess I'm still a kid. Well my wife says I am anyhow. Lol.

Hot Wheels sure were a big part of my childhood, and my son is an absolute fanatic.
