    Well HEY HOWDY HEY!!
It has been along time since the girl with the lil brown 74 spoke up! sadly I had no news to report.....

BUT NOW!!...I will be picking up the bottom end of my new engine next weekend!! I am so excited. Now I do realize it will sit all bundled up in the garage until I can get the rest of the parts aquired...

but I went and bought a 351W for my 74 baby!!) I am very excited...and clueless...so any input, advice, suggestions...or info. would be helpful. I am not looking for a strip burner...just a mean lil show car!

My initial thoughts are a supercharger...lil blower...something fun...but I am not sure just yet!

    :D

Congrats!! I was at a mini meet down here in so cal recently. One of the guys had a 2 door mav with shaved shock towers and a 351. He ran low elevens!!! He also had Nos, and ran low 10's on the bottle!!

My suggestion is to get a great cam/heads/intake & carb set up, and gear it up real good out back. Keep it Naturally Asperated. When you are dealing with a 2600 LB maverick, a 351 W with a blower might get out of hand, or be a little more than you bargained for!!

Regardless of which way you go, make sure to take plenty of pics for us!!

heck, a boosted 302 gets out of hand easily. I cant imagine a blown 351w on the street...man, that would be totally wicked!
